About the Artist
Stephanie Garrison is a glass artist who has studied fused glass at
Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. While attending the University of
Maryland, she studied textile design and graduated with a degree in
textile marketing. With little formal art education, Stephanie's heart
and soul has always revolved around the arts and crafts. Her love for
different art mediums led her to explore fused glass. She was
fascinated by the inherent beauty, depth, and color of glass and how
a material so rigid could melt and be transformed into different
shapes. Working with fused glass has created endless possibilities
for Stephanie's creative quest.
